The Administrator’s House was the setting at McMeniman’s Edgefield for Jodi and Ron to tie the knot. This was one of the most personalized weddings I’ve seen in a long time, from Jodi’s pink Jack Purcells, (embroidered with their wedding date) to personalized favors for each separate table. It was a day of lots of laughs, and lots of love.

“The Art of Joy” truly describes this couple – it was obvious when they saw each other for the first time.

I knew this wedding would be something spectacular when Allison brought out a fabulous purple pair of Kate Spade heels to wear with her wedding dress. Then, to our happy surprise, we found that Randy had his own idea of the groom’s and groomsmen’s shoes!

The Art of Joy 2009 – Dan and Christie’s Downtown Soiree

Dan and Christie tied the knot at Portland’s St. Patrick’s Catholic Church. After the ceremony, the couple thoughtfully provided transportation for their guest to McMeniman’s Crystal Ballroom for a night of dinner and dancing.

Riyan and Danielle – Celebrate the Joy! | Portland Wedding Photography

Riyan and Danielle were married Friday afternoon in the Power Station at Edgefield Manor. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as the couple exchanged their hand written vows, and the congratulatory hugs were the norm all during the reception celebration in the Attic. The atmosphere was totally joyful and relaxed – I loved it!

When the tears of the vows subsided, the couple was pronounced husband and wife, the guest broke into wild applause!

Danielle told me one of the best parts of wedding planning was going to Saint Cupcake to taste the flavors. They chose Chocolate, Coconut, and Red Velvet – great choices!

We had such a great time with this irrepressible couple! Thanks so much Danielle and Riyan for including us in your day!
