Mina & Mitch * The Art of Joy at Gorge Crest Vineyard

The only locals at this wedding were the hired professionals. None of the guests, nor the bride and groom, had any Washington or Oregon roots. As fate would have it, during their travels Mina and Mitch came upon the little town of Hood River, Oregon and were instantly charmed. When they decided to get married, they could only think of celebrating their union in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge. With the help of Amy Nuttman from Blush Bridal, the found the Gorge Crest Vineyards, and the stage was set. Here are a few snippets of the day – Mina and Mitch’s teaser trailer is just around the corner, too!

We’ve had a couple of light weeks on the blog, mostly due to some heavy weeks of shooting and processing. Ok, admittedly after a packed September we also took a few days off to catch our breath and hang out with our kids. In the next couple of weeks we’ll have some gorgeous weddings, some fun families, and our announcement of our upcoming Holiday specials. Here is a little sneak peek at the weddings we have scheduled this week!

Time for bragging rights! Wonderful Amy Nuttman, owner of Blush Bridal Consultation Group, was thoughtful enough to write a wonderful blog entry about studio.

We have worked with Amy and the ladies from Blush serveral times over the last few years, and have had a fantastic experience each time. The day runs like clock work and we never have less that a 200 moments of laughter between the bride, Amy, the stellar group of vendors that come together for the day.

Thank you so much, Amy! And give the Punky Bear a big squeeze for me!

Our day with John and Genny took us from The Nines to St. Mary’s Cathedral to the Marathon Tavern to the Portland waterfront and back to The Nines! Whirlwind of a day. All fun!

Celebrate John and Genny! Portland Wedding | The Nines

John and Genny were treated their family and friends to a totally Portland-style event : The Nines Hotel, St. Mary’s Cathedral, the Portland Skyline and Willamette River, and even the Marathon Tavern! I couldn’t even try to name a highlight of the day – it was one huge highlight!

Genny and John chose not to see each other before the ceremony, but did sneak in a phone call while they were getting ready.

Nothing but fun before the wedding for the guys! (insert your own story of this image here!)

We stopped for a quick photo session at the Marathon Tavern…

…then on to the Waterfront…

…and on to the Nines for a celebration reception!

The evening was flawless coordinated by Amy of Blush Bridal, and we had the please of working with Ryan from Focal Point Video!
