Remember that car game? For some reason it crossed my mind the other day when I was walking our Jack Russell Terror (and yes, I meant to spell it that way!) and I started playing it in my head with our 2011 wedding season. Thus was born this year’s review edition: “Weddings 2011 – The Art of Joy from A-Z” which will start on Monday.
And, yeah, I know it’s really “going to Alabama” but I actually AM going to New Orleans – on a couple of hours actually – for the Digital Wedding Forum Convention. This year I am once again orchestrating one of the traditional favorites of the event, mentor sessions. For the past 5 years, JP and I have been invited to participate and have mentored convention attendees on everything from portfolio reviews to marketing to workflow to balancing family and studio. Its been fun, satisfying, and is always for a charitable organization. This year all mentor session donations will be going to Thirst Relief International. This year, I’ll be going solo (sniff!) and JP will be home doing double duty or studio and family.
Enjoy our review, and I’ll return inspired and ready to rock and roll season 2012!
