Thank You Amy!!!

Time for bragging rights!  Wonderful Amy Nuttman, owner of Blush Bridal Consultation Group, was thoughtful enough to write a wonderful blog entry about studio.

We have worked with Amy and the ladies from Blush serveral times over the last few years, and have had a fantastic experience each time.  The day runs like clock work and we never have less that a 200 moments of laughter between the bride, Amy, the stellar group of vendors that come together for the day.

Thank you so much, Amy! And give the Punky Bear a big squeeze for me!

Jodi & Ron * The Art of Joy at McMeniman’s Edgefield

The Administrator’s House was the setting at McMeniman’s Edgefield for Jodi and Ron to tie the knot.  This was one of the most personalized weddings I’ve seen in a long time, from Jodi’s pink Jack Purcells, (embroidered with their wedding date)  to personalized favors for each separate table.   It was a day of lots of laughs, and lots of love.

These are great pictures! I enjoyed seeing them since I missed the wedding. I’ll look forward to seeing more. I heard all about the wedding from your mom, Wyndi and Auntie Faith while she was home. It looked like a wonderful day! Enjoy your life together.

Michelle & Alex * The Art of Joy at The Portland Art Museum

When family and friends arrived at Michelle and Alex’s wedding, they were greeting with a glass of wine,  and seated among the sculptures at the Portland Art Museum’s Sculpture Garden. One of the few venues where you can be married in an outdoor urban setting,  it totally fit the bill for this wedding celebration.   I knew the night was going to be something special when the wedding party – from the flower girls to the bride’s father and step father – danced up the aisle to The Black Eyed Peas.

Dear AJ,
The pictures of Alex and Michelle’s wedding are beautiful. They brought to life their love and joy at this wonderful event. As I look at each picture, I relive the experience multiple times and every time it brings a big smile to my face and a tear to my eye.

Thank you for providing all of us who attended this incredible celebration, the possibility of reliving it whenever we choose. I know I will do many times over.

Warmest regards,
Deby Veneziale

Erin & Dom Get Married at the Aerie * The Art of Joy

Live Well, Laugh Often, Love Much

I have always loved this saying, and was delighted to see it as the theme of Erin and Dom’s wedding.  These words were displayed throughout this day, from their invitation, to bridesmaid’s necklaces (a gift from Erin), to the bracelet that  adorned Erin’s bouquet (Dom’s first gift to her), to the programs.  More importantly, it was truly the spirit of the day that resonated through the Aerie at Eagle Landing.

Erin and Dom, thanks for your patience in waiting for your blog post!   You two are the best!

A few of the our wonderful vendor friends who contributed to the fabulosity (not sure if that’s a word, but is sure describes it!) of  Erin and Dom’s wedding:

Amy and John, The photographs you both took are wonderful! You really managed to capture the emotion of the day, yet we barely noticed that you were there taking pictures. You were both so fun to work with, yet very professional. The photo booth was also a huge highlight for everyone. Thank you, thank you SO much!

Deb & Mathew are Married! * The Art of Joy

Deb was as radiant as any bride I’ve ever seen.   And why shouldn’t she be:  she was marrying the love of her life, in the very place they met, on the holiday weekend she had always imagined she’d be married (July 4th), and would make their getaway in her beloved vintage Mustang convertible.  Family and friends gathered at Sunset Presbyterian Church to wittnes the nuptials  and celebrate with a picnic lunch, cake and ice cream.  It was a fabulous day!

Congratulations Debbie. Your wedding pictures are lovely, and I especially like the pix of the Mustang convertible. I still drive my ’67 daily and have a lot of fun with it. Hope you intend to keep yours to enjoy.

My husband and I are celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary at the Petersen Automotive Museum on August 13th. Three of our cars are on display there until October 3rd. We are looking forward to a memorable event with our cars, friends and relatives.

Have a happy life together!
Love, Deanna Roth
